How puff is priced
Puff is quoted per design. We digitize your logo for foam, count the stitches, and send a price with the proof. The quantity tiers still apply, and caps carry the $1 surcharge.
Logos that work in puff
- Bold block letters and thick shapes
- Simple marks with few small gaps
- Front-of-hat logos on structured caps like the Richardson 112
Logos that do not
- Fine script and thin outlines
- Small text
- Detailed artwork with many colors
If puff will not work for your design, we will say so and show it in flat embroidery or as a leather patch instead.
Questions
Can I mix puff and flat on one hat?
Yes. A puff front with flat side or back text is common. We quote both.
Does puff work on beanies?
Knit cuffs are not a good fit for puff. We recommend flat embroidery on beanies.
